The final was not without its moments of drama. The participants in this drama included the crazed "clothed" streaker who startled Federer just as he was preparing to receive the Soderling serve in the second set. At first, it seemed that the streaker was trying to harm Federer. Turns out that he was trying to put on a hat onto Federer's head.. It took a gendarme to tackle this nut-job; the tackle would have made an NFL player proud.
After watching this match, NBC for some reason, decided to show excerpts from the Wimbledon 2008 final between Federer and Nadal. Today was the first time that I could sit through the last few games and watch Federer lose that gut-wrenching final.
As my Spanish friend Nor likes to say "Vamos Federer!"
